WE HAVE A NEW HOME!

We are THRILLED to announce that Oko Farms has secured TWO new sites in Brooklyn.

Both sites are in collaboration with partners that resonate with our mission and values.

BROOKLYN ROOTS COLLECTIVE: Our new headquarters is located at 255 Randolph Street in Bushwick, in collaboration with Brooklyn Roots Collective (BRC), a sustainability-focused community space, marketplace, food hub, and event venue. This site will include…

    • A 15000 sq foot rooftop farm which will officially open in Spring 2026!

    • A backyard aquaponics installation growing a variety of vegetables, herbs and flowers

    • An herb garden on a shipping container located in the courtyard in collaboration with Traditional Medicinals.

BETHANY TERRACES: Our second site is a mini greenhouse located in East Flatbush, within a supportive housing development for low-income seniors, managed by Riseboro Community Partnership. Riseboro is a nonprofit organization dedicated to housing development, with a strong emphasis on community revitalization, including food distribution and nutrition initiatives. All of the vegetables, herbs and edible fish grown will be distributed to the residents of Bethany Terraces. We are also excited to engage the tenants of Bethany Terraces in cooking, herbal, and gardening workshops!

We want to THANK YOU, our ecosystem of support - community members, visitors from near and far, teachers, students, workshop participants, volunteers, partners, board members, funders, and beyond - for helping us during this transitional time! This newest rendition of Oko Farms would not have been possible without you!
