Ẹ WÁ JẸUN (CULINARY SERIES)

Ẹ wá jẹun is a warm Yoruba invitation that means, “Come, let’s eat.” It’s a joyful call to gather, share a meal, and build community around food.

In that spirit, Oko Farms invites you to celebrate the diversity and abundance of our farm harvest through a hands-on culinary experience. This immersive workshop blends basic kitchen skills with the harvesting and preparation of a shared, communal meal—bringing you from farm to table in the most delicious way.

After the fun (and a little hard work), we’ll come together to enjoy a vibrant feast. Around the table, we’ll spark meaningful conversations about the forces that shape our eating habits, the role of culture in food choices, and practical strategies for making informed, empowered decisions about what we eat.

Each workshop is led by Yemi Amu, Founder and Director of Oko Farms, who began her career as a culinary educator and brings her rich cultural tradition of cooking from scratch with fresh ingredients.
