GROWING FOOD FROM FOOD

Most people grow food by planting seeds or purchasing seedlings—but many everyday foods can be regrown right from your kitchen. Items from your fridge, countertop, or pantry can easily become new edible plants.

In this 60 minute hands-on workshop, participants will learn simple techniques to regrow and extend the life of common food scraps and grocery items. You’ll discover how to turn everyday ingredients into thriving plants using minimal space and supplies.

Participants will leave with their own potted edible plants to grow at home—perfect for apartments, windowsills, or backyard gardens.

This is a fun workshop for children and adults! Bonus plants if you bring your own recycled container!
